Canadian Pavillion at Futurecom 2007Canadian Pavilion at Futurecom’2007.
The Government of Canada participated at the Futurecom’2007 Business Trade Show, which took place in Florianopolis in October, 2007. With a total space of 180m2, including the exhibition area, mini-auditorium and meeting rooms, Canada promoted some of its most innovative companies in the telecommunication sector.
Coordinated by the Consulate General of Canada in São Paulo, with support from the Government of Quebec and Export Development Canada, 13 Canadian companies – Aastra Telecom, Aheeva Technology, Bridgewater Systems, Dialexia Communications, Intello Technologies, Keyrus, Memotec, Redline Communications, Sandvine, Sangoma Technologies, SMART Technologies, Soma Networks and Wavesat - participated in this initiative, exhibiting their state-of-the-art communications products and services on the Canadian Pavilion. Other Canadian companies participated individually or with their local representatives, including Nortel, Mera Technologies, Mitel Networks and Research in Motion.
