Paulo Bernardo Silva, Minister of Communications, confirms his participation at Futurecom 2011 Master Session!

Paulo Bernardo has a consistent political traject. Working as a Bank Employee, Paulo Bernardo was elected Congressman for the first time in 1991. He was re-elected in 1994 to a second term, in which he was the chairman of  Financial Supervision and Control.
In 1999 he assumed the post of Secretary of Finance from the state of Mato Grosso do Sul, where he remained until the end of 2000.

From January 2001 to March 2002, he was also the Secretary of the Treasury of Londrina.
In 2002 he was elected to his third term, holding key positions in Congress.
In March 2005 he assumed the Ministry of Planning, Budget and Management.
On January 1st, 2011, he accepted the position of Minister of Communications.
